Composition** Ingredients Gms / Litre Peptone 10.000 Sodium chloride 5.000 Final pH ( at 25°C) 7.2±0.2 Directions Suspend 15.0 grams in 1000 ml distilled water. Add the test carbohydrate in desired quantity and dissolve completely. Dispense in tubes with or without inverted Durhams tubes and sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121°C) for 15 minutes. pH 7.00-7.40 Storage and Shelf Life : Store below 30°C in a tightly closed container and the prepared medium at 15-25°C
